The combination of our STITCH GLOSSARY or TRAINING DVD with our carefully designed TRAINING KIT SAMPLERS makes learning fun. You can create an impressive set of all 6 samplers as you work through our program, learning new stitches & improving your hand embroidery skills. We vary the materials and threads used, making your stitching experience magical and educational. The kits are also divided into skill levels and all contain simple and clear step-by-step instructions to ensure your success. We have tackled all the stitches systematically, taking you through them in an easy-to-follow set of drawings and instructions, breaking each stitch down into understandable steps to make learning fast and simple. It includes inspirational applications of stitches with tips and tricks from the experts! The book is designed to be used on its own or hand-in-hand with our Training Kits teaching you every stitch you will ever need to complete our Embroidery Kits. Start at the beginning or slot in at a level you are comfortable with. For already experienced embroiderers, the glossary is the ideal reference tool. It’s like having your very own personal tutor in your living room! Each stitch is broken down into simple, understandable steps with clear explanations to make learning fast and easy. This unique learning tool can be used on its own or together with our series of Training Kits to teach you every stitch you will ever need to complete our kits. A stitch index has been included to help you find a particular stitch quickly or replay a stitch until you have perfected it. It also includes beautiful applications of the stitches to inspire you and is ideal for beginners and more experienced embroiderers alike. Our step-by-step program is carefully worked out, building one skill on top of another and should be done in the correct order for the best results. There is a Training Kit for each level which comes with a practice piece and a sampler. The practice piece allows you to master each stitch before you apply what you have just learned to the sampler. The samplers can be framed as a set and passed on as a family heirloom. Level 2 kits are designed for those with a touch more experience while Level 3 uses some more advanced stitches and techniques for the embroidery enthusiast! The flamboyant Brazilian embroidery and the challenging stumpwork, also called wirework will give a real sense of achievement.
