All the rooms are very stylishly decorated and reflect the surrounding sea and mountains. The lodge can accommodate children, if the suitable rooms are available. All rooms are en suite and have TV's direct dial telephones, personalized linen, heated towel rails, tea/coffee facilities and Bar fridges. The rooms also have hairdryers, overhead fans and under floor heating in the bathrooms. Rooms 4 and 5 have under floor heating in both bathroom and bedrooms and all the other rooms have wall heating units. Digital safes are in all the rooms for the safe keeping of valuables. All rooms have a walk in shower and bath except for Room 3, which only has a shower. We offer a variety of treatments for our inhouse guests. We are perfectly situated for leisurely walks or lazy days spent on the beach or to perfect your stop over point to explore this scenic part of the Garden Route. Oyster tasting, elephant viewing, cruises to the Heads & Featherbed Nature Reserve as well as a journey on the Steam Train all make for interesting day trips. The unique and most exciting feature of this area is the abundance in marine mammals in the bay which is flanked by two marine nature reserves and therefore rich in food for the resident whales and dolphins. There are organised boat trips all year round to see Brydes whales and dolphins. Huge schools of dolphin surfing the breakers or leaping clear of the blue sea, are a regular sight throughout the year. Monkeyland Private Sanctuary Monkeyland offers visitors safari's conducted by experienced rangers where you can expect to see many species of monkeys as well as a large variety of forest dwelling birds. After soaking up the splendor of a living forest, you can relax on the sunny deck of the restaurant while enjoying a meal or a cocktail.
